Overview of photoshop ® files localization
Our service operates on a cross-platform basis. Irrespective of whether your files are from a Mac or PC, the texts can be extracted, provided they are in text layers. |
Format information is preserved even after the extraction. For example, the graphic designer must still adapt the length or sequence of formatting, but no longer has to check whether and where formatting is used in the text. |
Fonts can be replaced automatically, if for instance Eastern European or Asian languages require symbols that do not occur in the Western European standard character set, Latin 1. In this instance, it can also be established immediately which fonts appear. |
The original file is preserved. Our tool creates one copy of the original file for each target language and imports the translated texts into the relevant copy. |
Path information is preserved. The translator can easily receive contextual information on a specified text, because the text layers from which the text originates can be identified clearly and in a very simple manner. |
The Photoshop ® program does not have to be installed for the export and import of texts. Our tool analyzes the data of the text layers as an independent program. Analysis and extraction only take a few minutes, if not seconds, even when dealing with large quantities of data. |
